Terms of Service

Last updated 18 August 2026. Morrowyn is operated by WispMade LLC.

These terms are the agreement between you and WispMade LLC for using Morrowyn. We have tried to write them in plain language. Where a sentence sounds like it is protecting us, it probably is, and we have tried to be honest about that rather than bury it.

Who can use Morrowyn

You need to be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract where you live. One account belongs to one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.

Access while we are in invite only

Morrowyn is currently invite only. Joining the waitlist is not a guarantee of a spot or of a particular date. While we are in this phase, features may change or be withdrawn with little notice, and we may occasionally take the service down. If you are paying us, the paragraph on refunds below applies regardless.

What you put into Morrowyn

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to process it so the product can work, which includes sending a person's details to an AI provider when you ask for gift suggestions. The privacy policy explains exactly what that involves, and it is part of these terms.

You are responsible for what you write about other people. Only record what is reasonable to keep about someone you are buying a gift for, and do not use Morrowyn to build a file on anyone.

Gift suggestions are suggestions

Suggestions are generated by an AI model. They can be wrong, unavailable, out of date, or priced differently by the time you look. Prices shown are estimates, and the links we give you are searches rather than live inventory. We are not a shop, we do not sell anything, and we are not a party to any purchase you make. Check anything that matters before you buy.

Families and shared people

On the Family plan you can share a person with other members of your household. Understand what that does: everyone in your family sees everything about that person, including the notes you wrote. Share deliberately, and remember that the person may be in your family too.

Chip-in amounts recorded against an occasion are a note between you and the others, not a payment. No money moves through Morrowyn, and we take no part in settling up.

The person who set the family up owns it. If they cancel or delete their account, the family winds down and the other members return to the free plan. People keep their own people.

Paying for Morrowyn

Morrowyn has a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on what you chose, until you cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not delete anything just because you moved back to the free plan, though features that need a paid plan will stop working.

If we get something badly wrong, or you paid for something you did not mean to, write to us. We would rather refund you than argue about it.

We may change our prices. If you are already subscribed, we will tell you by email before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

Things not to do

  • Do not try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.
  • Do not use Morrowyn to store data about people for any purpose other than your own gift giving.
  • Do not resell Morrowyn, or scrape it, or use it to train another model.
  • Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to keep.

If you do these things we may suspend or close your account. Where it is reasonable to warn you first, we will.

Ending your account

You can delete your account whenever you like from Settings. We wait thirty days before the deletion becomes permanent, and signing back in during those thirty days cancels it. After that, everything goes, and we cannot get it back for you.

We can close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop running Morrowyn. If we ever shut the product down, we will give you notice and a way to get your data out first.

What we do not promise

Morrowyn is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, never lose a reminder, or always suggest something good. To the extent the law allows, we exclude the implied warranties that would otherwise apply.

Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. We are not liable for indirect losses, and specifically not for a missed occasion. Morrowyn is a helpful reminder, not a guarantee, and we would rather say so here than let you find out at the wrong moment. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Morrowyn after that means you accept the new version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, where WispMade LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, this does not take away the protections of your own country's law, and you can bring a claim where you live.
